This facility has a basic home stay set-up in a coffee estate - the package includes stay, 3 meals + evening snacks, trek, estate walk, sunset point visit and few other activities. This is pretty good a deal at 1.7K per head. If you're looking for luxury, this is NOT your place. But, if you're looking for a decent cottage/tent stay with amazing home-cooked food, this is where you should go. The staff is very friendly and I liked the way they consistently sought feedback on food and service throughout our stay. We had a very homely and relaxing experience here.

A charming WOMAN doesn't follow the crowd. She is herself. 

This home stay was refered by my collegue cousin and due to it's distance from chikamagalur we were bit skeptical in booking it.. as we wanted to cover most talked scenic spots in Chikmagalur... but Jeevan assured us that we can cover all the places in one day if we leave early.. but after reaching home stay which you feel is in the middle of forest.. we(me & my friend) felt we haven't done any mistake in chooseing this.. and also we were finally very much satisfied with humble and caring attitude of home stay guys ( Nutan, Sanjay & Madan).. The food was awesome.. :) the next day we left to see much talked about places.. the journey was bit heavy but it was worth of it excluding baba buddan giri.. as suggested by Nutan we should visit this place during mansoon..as the mountains are filled with greenary.. next day was trekking & good jeep drive to shankara falls.. we enzoyed it.. as it's less crowded.. Finally thanks to Nutan for spending your valuable time with us and sharing your knowledge on trees and coffee estate.. Sanjay.. is very silent and humble guy.. Madan..bit chidlish.. and finally our team sweetheart BOLT.. we miss you BOLT..

We visited this place in February 2014 and it was indeed a great pleasure to be there. The host Mr. Nutan really spent good time with us sharing his experiences and made us feel at home. The food provided was awesome, overfilling and homely with different varieties served each day. They catered to all our needs pleasingly without any refusals. Sanjay and Madan who were in charge of the rooms were readily available any time to help us out and always obliging. Nature at its best can be felt here, amidst the dense coffee plantations and lush greenery. The trekking spot where they take us to has splendid scenic views and is truly beautiful.All in all it was a joyous and a memorable stay and would definitely recommend this place to friends. Thanks to Nutan and the troop :)
